WRITING: Defining Home: A Reflection of Spring Break in Ireland

Home is not always a physical location; it's often strongly present as a feeling. In this article, I tackle interpretations of home after moving out of the house I grew up in while planning for a writing-focused trip to Ireland.

One of my responsabilites as a Study Abroad Ambassador for DePaul University was sharing my experiences abroad to help others in the community. This article was written for DePaul's study abroad blog, Sojournal, introducing insight into a new definition of "home" after a week-long trip in Ireland with a travel literature course. My experience in Ireland mirrored a personal transition. Defining home midst a mental shift resulted in a fresh appreciation for continuous change, transition, and growth.
